This page is structured to protect your puzzle-solving experience. The hints at the top are graduated — each one reveals a little more than the last. Most players find that Hint 1 or Hint 2 is enough to get unstuck without spoiling the satisfaction of finding the answer themselves.
The full solution is always available if you want it. No judgment here — some days the puzzle is genuinely hard, and checking the answer is how you learn the pattern for next time.

The puzzle resets every day at midnight. Each new board is completely different, different letters, different arrangement, different par solution. That means yesterday’s answer is useless today, but it stays archived here in case you want to go back and solve any puzzles you missed. We post today’s hints and answer every morning. If you’re visiting early and the page shows yesterday’s puzzle, try a hard refresh press Ctrl+Shift+R on desktop or pull down to reload on mobile.
Par is the target word count for an optimal solution it’s the number of words a skilled player should need to use all 12 letters. Par is typically 4 to 6 words for most puzzles. The solutions we post here are at or below par, showing you the most efficient path through the board. Finding a solution below par or discovering a two-word solution is the Letter Boxed equivalent of a hole-in-one. It doesn’t happen every day, but when it does, it’s genuinely memorable.
Absolutely. Most Letter Boxed boards have more than one valid word chain that uses all 12 letters. The par solution is typically the shortest or most elegant, but players regularly find alternative paths. When our review finds a notable alternative solution, we post it below the main answer. If you solved today’s puzzle a different way from the solution shown here, your answer is just as valid Letter Boxed accepts any word chain that uses all the letters and follows the rules.
Our hints system is designed for players who want to finish the puzzle themselves. The hints nudge you in the right direction without revealing the answer outright. The full solution is for players who are completely stuck, want to check their work, or are short on time.
A full Letter Boxed solver (which generates solutions automatically from any set of letters) is a different tool. If you want to explore multiple solution paths for today’s specific board, our How to Play page covers the manual strategies that make that kind of exploration faster.
The game is right on our homepage. If you came here first, that’s completely fine but the most satisfying way to use this page is to play the puzzle first, get stuck, come back here for just enough help to finish, then feel good about the result.
